Youth organization

Youth organization in Podourip village, Kebumen has been around since 1997. Every 5 years the youth organization will reorganize all their members. In 1997 the leader was Mr. Jio. In 2002 the leader was Mr. Naro. In 2007 the leader was Mr. Yayan. In 2012 the leader is Mr. Yugo but, because at that time Mr. Yugo had some problems so he left his post to his representative, Mr. Vergan. In 2017 until now the chairman is Mr. Sudarmono. Currently there are 20 members of youth organization. To become a member of the youth organization they must the original people in Podourip village. They are usually between 16 - 30 years old. They must actively participate in the activities of youth organization and should take the time to follow and help events in the village such as "Maulud Nabi Muhammad" and Isra 'mi'raj.
There are several positions in the youth group: leader, representative, secretary, treasurer, equipment section, public relations section, security section, consumption section, section of equipment and section of field coordinator. The benefit of following youth organization is to keep youth harmony and make us more active in our village.
Youth organization in our village has a routine activity in August which is commemorating Indonesia's independence day. We create various races for children, teenagers, and adults such as : soccer between neighborhoods, tug of war, eating crackers, balloons dance, inserting pencils into bottles, etc.
